Strike looking likely for BA cabin crew

A strike by British Airways cabin crew is looking likely after talks between bosses and the Unite union broke down.

Eighty-one per cent of crew voted for strike action last month over jobs, pay and changes to working conditions.

The dates for any strike action will be announced before Monday March 15.

British Airways said it is preparing contingency plans and has trained-up 1,000 extra staff to cover striking workers.
