Introducing Natalie Pollard – nee Bedford
This is the next in the series of our special features looking at ITV SignPost’s on-screen staff.
I’m Natalie Pollard, an on-screen signer at SignPost and I’ve been with the company for eight years.
I’m very fortunate to have gained a vast amount of experience interpreting a range of programmes and I very much look forward to developing my many skills at SignPost.
In 1995, I began a three-year BA (Hons) degree course in Electronic Media at the University of Wolverhampton and prior to joining ITV in 2000, I spent 16 months as a researcher on the programme ‘That’s Esther’, presented by Esther Rantzen.
As a mother of two children, I try very hard to strike a balance between work and family life. Daniel and Frazer are very important to me and I’m very proud of them.
Other interests include reading, meeting friends and researching my family history. I managed to go back eight generations and three years ago I discovered my great uncle who actually lives in York. Since then I’ve been in regular contact with him, so that’s an extra bonus!
