Anti-crime DVD for deaf people
Gwent Police and the British Deaf Association have teamed up to create a national crime prevention DVD for deaf people.
The film, led by deaf characters acting out a host of crime scenarios, was devised by officer Kevin Childs after he realised sections of the community were missing out.
Inspector Childs said: "The DVD is an ideal solution to the issue of delivering suitably accessible advice.”
The film will now be distributed to police forces throughout the UK.
